I agree that the patent in Vietnam could help expansion by subcontracting production out to independent silkworm farmers. It serves as protection there.

Whether or not KBLB goes this route, who can say. Thompson might want to keep things in-house for several months, to make quality control better, then start farming out.

Interesting to see what develops.
