I understand being conservatives on dates with PRs, that's fine. What you can't do is the CEO or some other insider telling people that it's actually a different date.

It's literally why insider information is illegal. If this is true, there's a group of investors that get to act on that info (if even true. Who knows if there's even emails) and then another set that get to operate on the "public" info. I don't see how you can't view that as not insider information.
