bitcoin has been in a bull market for years. dogecoin was idling along doing very little for most of that time. i know because i owned it.

then late 2020 doge blew sky high. there were lots of days when doge was up 30% and bitcoin would be in the red.

so now, as bitcoin is hitting a double-top at $60K, dogecoin is still consolidating a giant move it made from subpenny to .088

i'm sorry i disagreed with your comment about decoupling. i apologize.

i can see now you just meant doge is tracking with bitcoin. on most days, when bitcoin is weak, doge is down by relatively the same percentage.

but i think we need to be clear -- while all the cryptos track with each other (they trade as a complex), there are some stand-outs. and dogecoin is potentially the brightest star among them.

i'm betting dogecoin will continue to decouple from bitcoin, and have lots of huge green days while bitcoin is bleeding-out.
