I never short. I know what you’re saying and you’re right there is no reason not to.
In fact, most stocks go down much faster than they go up, so I can see how it’s easy money.
Just not my trading style.
I am more of a longer term swing trader.
I just feel better finding stocks that I think are undervalued and buying to hold until the market comes around.
I usually hold well past 20%, but trim some as it goes up.

Everyone plays the game differently.
The goal is to make money.
The only real issue for me is that some play the game fairly, and with integrity, and some don’t.
I know you agree.
