Yes. Only reason to by before or after might be if your paying commission based on the amount of shares you buy? I would think most people trade with flat rate commissions.. but if not, buying 500 now vs 5000 after might save you some $$ also the obvious possibility that it runs after the split is effective. But, also the possibility that if you have presplit shares, after the split it might take a day or two to adjust in your account, so if it does run you might not be able to sell right way if you wanted to ? IDK.. just some things that came to mind. If you plan to hold longer term, doesn't really matter. (FYI I am not a trading professional, these are just my ill informed opinions..lol )
