Why doesn't Apple just buy Virnetx Holdings and all their IP for 1$ billion, then they get the IP, and all the cash from the last settlement.

They do not want KL or his BOD.
They already stole the IP.
The cash left from Apple III is about $160+ million.
They may have to pay 0 or little on Apple V.
