David Staffel is a corporate leader, technologist and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience at matching and integrating effective technologies into organizational goals, strategies and investments. Mr. Staffel started his career in the United States Army Special Operations and then applied those military leadership skills and principles in the civilian tech business world. He has continuously been dedicated to the craft of first understanding and then translating customer and business goals into product and engineering requirements. Mr. Staffel has provided leadership to engineering, product and sales teams at senior management levels with organizations such as IBM, LightEdge, Lone Star Tangible Assets and others. SaaS platforms, Security and Compliance for Cloud and Data Centers, IT Infrastructure Management, Data Encryption, eCommerce, ERP, and Machine Learning are examples of companies, products and services for which he has been responsible and effective. He completed his career in the United States Army as a Major (with a Top Security clearance) and having served five combat tours in Infantry, Rangers and Special Forces Units with front-line combat assignments in the 101st Airborne Division, 75th Ranger Regiment, and the 3rd Special Forces Group. Mr. Staffel was awarded the U.S. Bronze Star Medal on two occasions for his decisive actions in combat, and the Army Commendation Medal (with a four oak leaf cluster) as well as several similar individual and unit medals for valor and distinguished service. Mr. Staffel earned a B.A. degree from Stephen F. Austin University, and two Master of Science degrees: one from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business in Austin, and the other from the University of Southern California, Spatial Sciences Institute.
