Data security: archTIS lands key licensing deal

Oriole Resources wraps up pivotal 2024, targets major gold milestones in 2025

Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) CEO Martin Rosser and CFO Bob Smeeton take Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company’s latest full-year results and upcoming milestones across its key exploration projects. Rosser highlighted a pivotal year for the company’s Bibemi and Mbe gold projects in Cameroon. At Bibemi, a recently completed phase five drilling campaign is feeding into a revised Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), expected this quarter. “We believe there's very good potential to not just increase the amount of gold, but also improve the category of the resource,” said Rosser. The company is also advancing an exploitation license application for the project. At Mbe, maiden drilling continues, following trenching results that indicated strong mineralisation. “We think Mbe South has significant potential to host a substantial gold deposit,” Rosser added. Smeeton detailed a £2 million reduction in operating loss and financial support from BCM International. “Since year-end, BCM have given us $1.1 million, largely replenishing CapEx,” Smeeton noted. He also confirmed progress on a joint venture agreement with Managem at the Senala project in Senegal. Rosser pointed to potential sector-wide revaluations driven by high gold prices and possible M&A activity. “Oriole’s shares are significantly undervalued,” he said. Sintana Energy advances Orange Basin portfolio with key exploration updates

Sintana Energy CEO Robert Bose recently spoke with Steve Darling from Proactive to provide a comprehensive update on the company’s Orange Basin assets, highlighting significant progress across PEL 83, PEL 90, PEL 87, and PEL 82. Bose sahred positive results from the Mopane 3-X well on PEL 83, operated by Galp. The well, which targeted new AVO anomalies 10 and 13, delivered better-than-expected results across nearly every parameter, confirming the presence of high-quality oil and condensate. This discovery has the potential to establish a new development hub, positioning PEL 83 as a key asset in the basin. Moving forward, activity will focus on evaluating partnership opportunities, with Galp expected to seek new partners in the coming quarters. The first Chevron-operated well on PEL 90 did not encounter commercial hydrocarbons but was still regarded as a technical success. Bose emphasized the company’s confidence in the exploration potential of the block, noting that the joint venture partners plan to return for further drilling later this year. Bose also provided an update on PEL 87’s Saturn Superfan prospect, where Woodside Energy chose not to proceed after completing a 3D seismic survey. Despite this, Sintana remains highly optimistic and is now in discussions with alternative supermajor partners. “We’re very excited about opening up the doors to larger, potential partners,” Bose stated, highlighting the continued confidence in the asset’s potential. Chevron has officially completed its farm-in at PEL 82, located in the Walvis Basin, paving the way for drilling operations next year. Bose also pointed to the growing political support for oil and gas development in Namibia, with upstream regulatory oversight now moved directly under the President’s office—a move he called “a huge step forward” for the industry. Nevis Brands doubles revenue in 2024, cuts losses & expands in key Markets

Nevis Brands CEO John Kueber joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company’s financial results for fiscal year 2024 and the fourth quarter ending November 30, 2024. Nevis reported $1.56 million in revenue, more than doubling its 2023 sales as it expanded into new markets and introduced new cannabis products. The company narrowed its net loss to approximately $362,000, down from $400,000 the previous year. When excluding interest, depreciation, and amortization, the adjusted loss was reduced to about $58,000. Nevis maintained its leading position in Washington’s cannabis beverage market and achieved the second-best sales ranking in Missouri within its first year in that state. The company also made significant progress in debt reduction, cutting current liabilities from $1.12 million to about $573,000 through debt payments and restructuring. Looking ahead to 2025, Nevis expects continued growth driven by expanding sales of its Happy Apple and Major brands in the hemp-derived THC beverage market. The company also looking for market re-entry in Ohio and Arizona following previous licensing and market shifts. All this happening while the company focused on licensing established products in key markets. Kueber acknowledged that the fourth quarter was challenging, with revenue declines due to licensing and market shifts in Arizona, Ohio, Oregon, and California.
