I thought that maybe I could find something in Scripture to deal with the word "FEAR"---a little word that appears to be very contagious today. So much of what we see and hear carries a lot of doom & gloom. As I thumbed through several passages looking for the right one to fit my thoughts I came across this which I had previously hi-lited----from Psalm 34:18-19 :
"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
Now there is much in the Scriptures concerning fear and this exact passage may not fit my thinking exactly, however, it spoke to me and that little voice inside said to go with it, so I did. I suppose that applies to the great word "TRUST". Sometimes we are just called to step out and go with it.
There is a special corner in my heart from personal experience for that verse in Psalm 23: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for You are with me."----No matter what your struggle may be, this carries great strength, just knowing and believing that no matter what-- all will be OK
