I know less than zero on the matter. But as a lay person I would think that if you start mixing in data from a different situation that wasn't part of the double-blind study you would end up with different results that could be skewed in the companies favor. For example, doesn't the company control and work with who gets EAP? You could cherry pick people for that program and then introduce the data into your double-blind study to juice the results?

Just my take, but again, I'm a lay person and know nothing.
