TH, several "investment" opportunities come to my mind.
BTW and IMHO and FWIW, precious metals are not gambling.
Other opportunities:
Buy and store cases of non-perishable items that you "can't live without" and can only get Wal-mart or whatever store you frequent.
Guns and ammunition are a good bet against inflation, in one way or another.
Real property, the kind you can take a walk on.
I'm not a "prepper", I'm just hedging my bets.
