Great post. Variant has several things going for it in addition to the balance sheet cleansing of 26 million dollars. The new ABA Canada League with several American teams in high profile cities could potentially bring in significant revenue if they can use their TV networks (OKTV) to garner advertisements. With the recent statements via video by several celebrities stating some sort of combination of celebrity/player announcements yet to come, that leads me to believe they may be instrumental in building awareness about the league to a much broader network. Which obviously will help build the League’s recognition and garner advertisement deals which they already have stated they are focusing on with local retailers in Hollywood/Beverly Hills area. In addition they have shown demonstrations of future arenas so that’s a whole other revenue generator from that alone. Let’s see if they can do that along with completely paying off all the existing debt.
