IMO, if EI markets the product thru the funeral industry, it will do well but the general population will only learn about it when they are making final plans for their loved one.
Marketing to people within the sport, open market, life insurance or family planning will be additional means of product exposure and will allow people to think about it years before hand and perhaps some fans looking at a Phillies Urn will like it and buy it in advance, its a wild new young generation, don't underestimate them and their flexibilities..
"I like knowing about products before I need them." not the day they are picking out the head stone..
The MLB licencing agreement puts EI in the door at the fan level, thereby being right up there with hats, trophies,shirts,sweaters and seats....
