After reading Dr Kane’s linked in account about his time at KBLB. I would say he is no longer necessary. He wrote up all the protocols and SOPs. We know they achieved pure spider silk and a great new technology for gene manipulation. He most likely wanted a new challenge. And given all he achieved at KBLB. He will likely have his pick of jobs.

Without knowing the circumstances of his departure. It’s pretty hard to determine much of anything
