At the end of the article it says: "Occasionally I make jokes about dogecoin, but they are really meant to be jokes," Musk said last month, speaking during an interview on the invite-only chat app Clubhouse.

I agree that he is protecting himself by stating his comments are jokes.

There is lots of evidence that doge is going up from here.
