Was watching an episode of black mirror with my son, weird stuff.

Somewhere in the middle of the episode, they talked about the breakfast club, my son had never heard of it, I said molly ringwald was in it, never heard of her. Maybe Kevin Bacon, but I'm not sure about that. Never heard about him either. What? You've never seen the invisible man. Not ringing any bells.

We get to the end of the episode and in the credits it is written that Jodie Foster directed it. I comment on this, didn't know she directed anything. Doesn't know who she is.

Then he says "I remember faces not names"

Some neurons fired in my head and sent me to something I said in the mid 1990's on Silicon Investor. Couldn't stop laughing. He figured his old man had finally lost it.

SO, on some shit stock some woman said she'd been royally screwed by the CEO.

So I typed up a joke PR along the lines of "reporting from buckingham palace, allegations that Xperson had been royally screwed cannot be confirmed. However it relates to WXYZ co who's CEO said in his defance that he has screwed so many that he can't remember names or faces."

I suppose I could mine the bowels of SI for an hour or so to pinpoint that exact moment, but life is too short...
