Share price is not a function of outstanding shares, but how many are available for purchase and demand for them. If they are owned by investors, who are not selling, it is the same as the company keeping them locked up. If when this moves, nobody sells, it will rocket up. When you sell, do not dump your position all at once, but gradually, which will support the price and allow you to get more money over time. A glut of shares does no one any good.
