I worked at Sanofi and left for other opportunities. It is a common development, especially in Biotech, and few people stay these days at companies for a long time. So I wouldn't put her working at Sanofi as meaning anything more than she saw a good opportunity with this company. Nothing to loose as she can go get a job in many other Biotech companies if this were not to work out.
