Yes that is exactly right. It's the perfect storm of variables lining up for every single one of the original warrant holders to have their orders filled at $39.99.

I personally believe that the mine should be handed over to the HYMCZ holders and all Hycroft mining symbols halted pending investigation.

This is truly the speculative bet of the century as shown in the following article:
https://seekingalpha.com/instablog/52535199-hymcz-warrant-holders/5542105-speculative-bet-of-century-hymcz

Also to answer your question, according to this article there are approximately 3,000,000 warrants held by the original holders.

START OF EXCERPT:
Of the 12.7 million warrants outstanding, the group of 450 warrant holders who filed the original SEC complaints account for only around 3 million warrants. With large speculators recently purchasing 4.4 million warrants, this allows for approximately 5.3 million warrants unaccounted for.
END OF EXCERPT:

Since January 12, 2021, the date the article was written, about another 2.5 million traded hands. If these are long term holders, this leaves only 5.3 million - 2.5 million = 3 million warrants left on the open market. This does not mean that all these warrants will even be available for sale because it is unknown who holds these warrants. Once these are bought up, the price action will become very interesting.

It will be really beautiful to watch our supposedly worthless warrants surpass the value of all the other Hycroft warrants combined. Then it will be even more beautiful to see our warrants pass the price of a single share of HYMC. The investment community will be wondering what the hell is going on.

This will be a day that goes down in history as one of the coolest things we will all witness. How when the corporation, who tried to throw their investors under the bus, the bus lands on them, and instead of squishing them, the investors literally picked up the bus and threw it back at the corporation.
