it's the same as selling shares of a stock on etrade, ameritrade, schwab, etc.

robinhood routes your order via market makers, and they all profit from "the spread", a tiny fraction of each coin sold.

i wouldn't worry that doge moving higher (for example, $5) would make it any harder to unload a position.

it's a very liquid market, so getting filled at the prevailing price is almost never an issue.

the concern people are having with robinhood is they don't currently allow customers to transfer their crypto out, to another "wallet" or exchange.

but they've said they may change that policy.
