Don’t fall for the head fake. Shorts own small amounts of long shares for days like today. Very few people have access to market maker premarket. They sell a tiny amount of shares to make it look like lots people are selling when in reality it’s a small group or just a couple shorts selling. They hope if they take a loss on a couple thousand shares that it will scare others into selling. Than they swoop in and buy olio all the cheap shares covering all the shutter shares. They make Money on the shorted shares, but only if others sell. If other held and bought more than they not only lose the little long shares they had but they have to cover at higher prices and pay interest and stock would go up nicely past $5-5.50 today.
