If a company makes $100 one year and $250 the next, that alone doesn't make theme worth 150% more, i.e. a 1 million dollar company won't automatically be worth 2.5 million upon a 150% increase in revenue (which is sometimes negative numbers and moves upward into less negative territory, but is still negative nonetheless).
