I golf 2 to 3 rounds a week on average, I would love to try one of their golf carts. The Lead acid battery carts (horse and buggy era) are junk. They take for ever to charge, can only safely run them down to 50 percent without damaging them, have to add distilled water to them, subject to cold weather, discharge when not used, on and on.. I have two carts and they are gas carts as I would never own an electric cart using the old crappy lead acid batteries unless of course I wanted to walk the back nine carrying my 200 lb golf bag along with the beer and booze.
I would have to wait and see if capacitor type storage and use has come far enough to surpass Lithium batteries and also the cost of the units is a big issue. I would agree with the life cycle of capacitor type storage but show me the initial cost of each golf carts bank of capacitors and controllers.. show me more..especially the cost of the bank of capacitors with their controller. You already have golf carts using this system.. how much does the system cost the average joe???
