I now am very strong believer in the concept that virtually all gaps get filled eventually - even if there was a massive runup (maybe even especially if such is the case) right after the gap. That is because I noticed a moment ago that the gap at $0.75 was filled, despite the stock having run up to about $3 before eventually filling the gap. According to a one minute chart for SIRC a low of $0.75 was reached during each minute from 1:01 PM ET to 1:06 PM ET today, inclusive.

Though I missed out in creating a recent huge (by the standards of my finances) realized gain on SIRC, I have learned something very valuable regarding stock price movements. That puts me in a stronger position in the future to make even bigger unrealized gains and to turn them into huge realized gains for reinvestment later at a low price.
