Just like most international endeavors, the international patent process works through additional filters and bureaucratic layers. When filing patents outside of the US, the Company's patent legal team works with firms that are located in the country that they're submitting the application to and, in many cases, the communications are relayed through additional channels.

In this case, even though the patent didn't involve the additional work to translate the documents, the communications flow was especially slow. However, the Company's US patent counsel quickly notified Kraig Labs upon receipt of the confirmation several weeks ago. From there, the press release was written and submitted to the various legal teams involved in the uplist process for approval.
