I've been following this board casually for a long time, longer than I'd care to admit really, so I know the history pretty well.

Even when they were in "business" in the mid to late '00s they had become not much more than a vehicle for a predatory lender to convert and sell shares of. It was obvious they couldn't survive and if not for the lender they would have shut their doors years earlier.

For a while, once or twice a year some people would come along and suddenly new posters would hype FDA approval, exclusive sales, superior products, etc and the pump would be on. This was mostly back in the IRP days, if any of you remember all that.

Once that ended, the cycle spread out and it's been what, like 5 years now since the last one?

The point is, I think everybody who has been here for any length of time or spent 15 minutes doing DD would realize that the company is, for all practical purposes, defunct.

The only thing that has kept it alive, for some odd reason, is a (now) 76 year old lawyer who was one of three officers of the company.

So, all that being said, when new people show up and start talking about news coming, FDA approval, exclusive rights, boomers want the best eye care available and PDMI can give it to them, dammit" the BS meter pegs.

Call it what it is, someone saw it sitting at .0001 and that it had some liquidity and started buying it up, maybe told a few buddies, and the rest follows.
