Yep. The market makers can naked short this stock and if there is not a sufficient pushback with demand then the price will stay depressed. Ideally for them shareholders will give up and sell which allows the market makers to cover.

Two things can happen. 1. The company will respond with good news and we will spike. 2. The company won't have good news and we will drift lower than here until option 1 happens or the end of the month when FTDs are reported.

Here is what won't happen. The SEC won't enforce the law and force the market makers to cover their shares in 3 days.
