I'm feeling optimistic. It turns out that HGEN limiting the trial to severe is going to be very strategic. Other trials that included both severe and critical did well with severe patients but did poorly with critical patients. It seems critical patients might be too far gone to successfully respond to treatment. The other reason that I'm optimistic is Mayo's overwhelming success with its Covid patients. 1% of Mayo's Covid patients have passed away whereas the national average is 3%. Also, only 11.9 of their ICU patients have passed away which also excellent. These numbers line up perfectly for lenz to have phenomenal trial results.
