I'm pretty sure the 10bil @ .001 - .005 was given to said company for something more than being an "accredited investor."

Is it a good idea?
I dunno. I'm an IT person, mailing drafted offers seems kind of old school and slow. But that's me. Guess the worse they can say is "no."
