Could be a number of reasons. Most often the end goal is dumping massive amounts of shares into the float. Could have been an offering done at some point that gave an entity hundreds of millions of shares at a fraction of the price it trades at currently (which are not part of the float yet) and they want to sell them. So they ran up the price a bit to bring in retail intrest and then dumped they're shares on everyone at the bid. After they drop the pps down far enough they may or may not start buying shares back at the bid that way they have your cash and all your shares again (in a gap and trap) there are a lot of different games that get played on these pink sheet stocks. Another thing to remember is that market makers will have to take a short position to fill your order if they dont have the inventory to fill you. So they still need to buy those shares back in order to cover. They wont want to buy cover at a higher pps. That's only a few possibilites and I could be wrong, but most often the end goal is to off load a massive amount of shares without any care or regard to the pps. The whole otc has been going down for a couple of weeks now. Which is expected. This bull run couldn't last forever. There is bound to be a correction.
