I believe there's intentional over-recruitment in the trial in both countries to ensure there are 120 "usable" patients at the end for final inclusion in the analysis. If someone doesn't show up for all of the follow-up visits that could eliminate that patient from the final results. Based on the 106 number we're seeing in Russia it seems like 20%-30% additional recruitment depending on whether the target number in Russia is 80 or 90.

In other words, in Russia if the target to be used in final analysis is 90 they'll recruit ~ 20% more (108 vs 106 is close). For the US, if the target is 30 patients they'll recruit 35-40.

The company wants to make sure they have 120 patients eligible to be included in the final study results.
