To hear Munger talking about morality is pretty rich and comical. I agree with two or three of his reasons of why it ultimately will not work, but to compare those who buy and sell bitcoin to the sale of freshly harvested baby brains is just way out of line.

I get the sense he does not like it because he does not fully understand it and more importantly, it probably threatens Berkshire in a couple of different ways.

The market determines what it is worth until the governments step in to put the burdensome regulations on it. Is there some pumping going on? Sure. But you have everyone else pumping their stocks, market sectors,etc. Elon Musk in my opinion has gotten away with some totally illegal stuff at least twice related to Tesla.
