Not sure how many people here know of a company by the name of Grumman. I once worked for a division of theirs at an IBM location in Fiskill NY. It was contract work between IBM and Grumman. IBM canceled the contract. Grumman ended up laying a bunch of us off and then refused to pay severance to some of us because we weren't hired the same way as the others that got their severance. Anyway, why am I telling you this. Well, though it wasn't illegal what they did, it wasn't right either. After some well placed phone calls, visits to Dept of Labor in NYC, and then the CEO of Grumman and his board getting together to save face, we all got our severance pay. If TDS doesn't correct this and cancel the R/S and thus screwing the shareholders, I'll be more than happy to start the same quest here. I've already taken the first of many steps by contacting the SEC. Next steps are up to TDS. I hope this Corporate Action they speak of will get us back on track.
