The SEC is a fraud and a gigantic waste of tax payer money. The SEC regulations themselves wreak of allowing the fraud to exist in the first place. The regulations are written by wall st for the SEC through lobbying our boy scout legislators in the federal government. That is why the fraud never stops.
So what is an alternative?? How about hiring about 200 FBI investiagators to set up sting operations to catch these crooks and bring them to justice. Now the other half of the fraud is the so called justice imposed or not imposed by the courts. Jail time should be harsh with mandatory sentencing so a corrupt judge can not let them off with just a slap on the wrist. Fines should be big enough and jail time long enough so the rest of the crooks get the message. Unlike the excuses made by nodummy for the SEC about not having funding which is nonsense.
