"People have been worried that COVID-19 survivors will be at greater risk of psychiatric disorders, and our findings in a large and detailed study show this to be true," Dr. Paul Harrison, Professor of Psychiatry, University of Oxford, Theme Lead – NIHR Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), who led the study, explained in a press release.

This past week I've officially become a 1yr long-haul survivor of Covid-19. Around mid June 2020 my grandkids started referring to me as "the crazy old man of the family who lives next-door", but just late last month they upped the ante and added to it "the disengaged psychopathic crazed lunatic old man of the family who lives next-door". Oh well, I'm not gripping, we all know how heartless kids can be right? I still love'em though, despite their new take on me. What the heck they're grand. And as the old adage says "Kids will be Kids" heartful or heartless, it doesn't matter! ; )
