You and me both. Simon has to come through.

Here's one take on Aphria waiting to buy Tilray until it was desperation time 6 - 12 months from now.

If the entire Street started to totally give up on Tilray, and investors pummelled the PPS as they did ACB pre-reverse split, then Tilray would have been vomiting shares through equity raises at "x" times the rate they already were. They would have done anything to survive.

Systems, procedures, and facilities would have started collapsing, and maintenance put off. Picking up the pieces might have been way more costly to repair and replace, than when the deal is being made.

As long as the deal was going to be made, it was probably timely.

During the 6 - 12 months following the "closing", the hoped for synergies should start to be realized. Light will be shed on USA legalization. We'll start to see how it will work. We'll learn if Sweetwater can capitalize on THC beverages.

In 12 months, the combined entities will be on an annual revenue run rate of over $1B. If the EU moves closer to rec legalization, Aphria/Tilray is so well positioned, that I can't reasonably place a fair valuation on the EPS other than it will be north of whatever REDDIT just did. I am happy to own Aphria. - FUNMAN

Yea, I have never been a fan of tilray.
BUT NOW... Hahaha I'm banking on Irwin knowing what he is doing with the deal, for what's going to be a successful future for the company, including us shareholders.
Cheers
