They'll reduce the shares, but in theory the value should remain the same as pps will increase accordingly. However, if the company doesn't have good fundamentals to keep the pps up it will more often than not just plummet back down. So in the worst case scenario you're left with just a fraction of your original position at a much lower pps. Kinda like being robbed more or less.
