This is racketeering. The Dealers are fighting to force us to purchase through them because it's a huge revenue stream, not because it's something they're entitled too - there is absolutely no reason to force consumers to buy through a channel if the Manufacturer deems it unnecessary. Tesla fought this same battle, so will Lucid, and the other new EVs coming into the market.
