One of two things happening IMO:

1) Weak hands that are selling before even knowing what the acquisition is let alone CE dropping off.

Or (which I think is the case)

2) Shorts taking position ... because they buy off the Ask side and cover on the Bid side. If so, then a nice squeeze coming soon.
