I guess it depends on what exchange you are using. For Bitrue I use USDT. They function similarly. After Nexo's ...whatever that was!...Nexo is changing some things up. Some things are supposed to be a temporary change, but some are for long term. I'm not sure how things will land. Her's what I've been doing: instead of taking a loan of dollars to your bank, take the loan in USDT. In the loan form if you hit USDT (and I assume USDC) there is a place for a wallet address where you want the USDT sent to, fill that in and finish the form. USDT moves pretty quick. Processing time on Nexo depends on what time of day you are taking the loan and I guess who is manning things in their end, The processing can vary, but usually not long. Here a few weeks back when things were really moving my assets on Nexo were increasing in value every time I checked in. I would take the loan, send it to bitrue, buy whatever I decided upon (I was only buying things I could send back to Nexo) and then send it back to Nexo. So my acct was increasing by price increase and by asset increase. From time I started a loan til time I had the assets back on Nexo averaged 10 minutes. To take the loan in dollars to your bank requires the bank clearance time, sending the dollars to an exchange or buying assets on exchanges that have fiat on-ramps, then sending the asset back to Nexo. And Coinbase has insane wait times for clearance, just horrible. I much prefer the USDT loans. But that is part of what is changing. For the time being only loans of $5000 or greater are allowed. And there may be new fees associated with taking the loans in USDT or USDC. Depends on how many Nexo token you have on the platform. Even if there is a small fee it'll still be worth it to me. They weren't charging any fee for the USDT loans. I think now if you are Nexo platinum you get so many free from fee transactions a month, and less than platinum will pay the fee every time. But I don't know what the fee is. It's worth it to have enough Nexo token to be platinum anyways. The lower interest rates and other perks. Not to mention Nexo price rise, got all my Nexo around .40 cents
