I would have to ask, why is PM counter suing RJR but not HCMC?

Why are the attorneys that PM just brought in ones that specialize in Merger and acquisitions? That could indicate a buyout of HCMC.

I am not an attorney, but I personally doubt that PM, the big, rich Tobacco company responsible for who knows how many deaths, wants to sit in front of a jury face to face with little HCMC who specializes in finding healthy alternatives. To me, the OPTICS do not favor PM, and they may want to avoid that. A settlement or buyout makes sense to me to avoid that.

But hey, I am not an attorney. I know that PM has a crap ton of $$ and can try and delay and drag things out. It would not surprise me Friday if there is no real news, but I at least hope to see a response, so we get a game plan and know what to expect. A settlement would of course be great.
