It's my understanding that most would be starting Brilacidin rinse in OM trial before the treatment and sores showed up in hope of prevention.

True, but many people who have surgery on their oral cavity have pain in their mouths even before OM, and having to swish something around could be difficult and make that pain worse. At least that has been my experience, and Dr. Sonis' too.
