neye_eve, don't blame you for feeling frustrated!

Are you sure your monitor is working? Also verify that your power supply is set for your local line voltage (115v or 230v).

This is a difficult situation. Do you have a similar working machine that can be used to test parts individually? That is what I'd try next - test the CPU, DRAM, etc. one part at a time until you find a failure.

If you don't have a similar machine, then see if you can exchange the motherboard and start from scratch on your anti-static pad with the minimum number of components.
