What I found "different" about his take on the situation was that he didn't see inflationary pressures being a problem going forward. The data we're seeing in rising prices doesn't really confirm that to be the case. Prices in commodities are rising the numbers are showing that to be the case.

Also, if/when inflation does pick up that will automatically make rates rise, unless the Fed steps in and intervenes. IMO that's going to happen at some point in time and when the Fed will have to go to YCC.

I was surprised that he thought where we are currently in the 10 yr. yield is near where he thought the top was in rates. I just don't see that being the case later this year, UNLESS we get a big deflationary market crash.

IMO if the market can stay afloat this year, we're going to see higher inflation. He kept mentioning hyperinflation. To me hyperinflation is something that would come later on and not right away.
