I met Leo twice. Once at the 2015 Biotech Showcase in San Francisco and once at the 2015 shareholder meeting. I didn't find him unpleasant at all. As a matter of fact, I found him likeable along with exuding positive energy. Another thing I like is his ability to give you direct eye contact and attention while in conversation. Not everyone does. I met some other CEO's at the Biotech Showcase that couldn't give good eye contact and didn't like them.

I was also happy to have met a few other shareholders at both events. Most were very likeable.

That being said, I've not always agreed with his handling of things I'd have done differently. But, I don't know what he kinows....and do believe he's trying his best. Like most of us, he's learning along the way.

I'm on a different speculative path in the midst of this endless tabula rasa. Why extend completion date of original trial that began in December 2020? Same parameters except for this one fact. My guess is to stick it to Leo as some kind of payback for not giving them what they want. Hardball - we make you wait. Anyway, that's where my mind went. Hope I'm wrong. But having met Leo briefly once, I found him to be a fundamentally unpleasant person - though sure he can put on a smiley face for a few hours at an annual meeting. But you don't make enemies like Mako for no reason. He has never succeeded in negotiating a good enough deal with “multiple” pharmas to which he has alluded to in the past. What’s the common denominator? My hope was that even he could not screw up brilacidin/covid. Hope that is still the case.
