No. It's as it should be and has worked for decades because it's a good system. I'm talking only free stock boards which I believe you are referencing.

Board mods only job is to handle tos on the threads. Admin top the mod.

The ibox-into page is something the admin has left up to mod positions as they're the ones active on a stock and rightfully so years ago admin stopped mod over control of the intro page with only allowing each mod their own space on the intro page. And new info can be placed only within the mods original space or only at the end if desired. A mod is NOT allowed to touch another mods data or even move it or place yours on top, no matter what the sentiment is.

Only a sitting mod can edit or remove his/her own data.

Remember, a pro company mods facts can be a anti-company mods proving false. The personal sentiment is never the topic of the board and neither is personal data inserted into the intro page proper. What you think is true facts of a company may not be. It goes both ways. There's nothing stopping you from PM'g admin and discussing the situation. You'd be surprised at all the help they will do.
