I get you. As far as putting out a statement, maybe the radio silence is to not interfere or jeopardize the publishing process. Once results are public, corporate news should follow.

Filing should not affect the clinical trial results, as far as I know. That still bugs me. Could be they are still trying to figure out the mess left by JB, but that's just a guess. Nanobeak's suit against Barbera started August 31, 2020, so that is still early. At least with new leadership it appears they are headed in the direction we are hoping for.
