I dont wanna go down this rabbit hole too much, but i am quite confident you are very wrong. I have been doing this a very long time (almost 20 years professionally now) and i believe OTC stocks are the most shorted stocks as a % of float, presumably by the MMs themselves in most instances.

If you dont believe me, thats fine, but im quite certain im right.

Again, no harm in putting in GTC sell orders at .50+ in the event it doesnt allow anyone to short with ur shares and therefore helps to induce a short squeeze as the shareprice presumably races higher in the coming weeks and shorts need to cover with shares they cant find.
