I think it helps on multiple fronts, not the least of which is that under the MMA the streaming services will now be keeping a digital record for tracking, paying the MLC the licensing fees and the MLC will distribute to creators. Prior to this, nobody was digitally tracking, and as we all know - people hate change - so the digital tracking acceptance hurdle should be a non-issue for VNUE.

Also, the $426M being paid by these services to the MLC is likely way, way, way less than what is actually owed in unmatched royalties, but will be deemed an agreed upon amount. This gets the MMA implemented and the MLC up and running. Also, MMA provides bigger royalty amounts, which increases the size of the total royalty pie.

The MMA/ MLC keeping track of these things digitally, will now be the norm - so that means less resistance to VNUE soundstr when bringing it to bars, restaurants, stores, etc. Also, may result in the PROS wanting to make VNUE's soundstr mandatory in their licensing agreements with the bars - since they are non-profit and digital tracking will be the norm. Radio stations, VNUE's use is obvious.

What I'm looking forward to, is one day seeing a commercial circulating on the web for Individual artists, songwriters, creators, publishing rights holders. I want to see a known/highly recognizable artist looking at their iPhone, opening their VNUE app, and checking their royalties in real time as their number of plays increases. Maybe a tagline: "VNUE know what you are OWED." Monthly subscription fee - every creator can track what they should be receiving through radio plays, etc from their PRO each month.
