The general public knows so very little about patents. There are patents that become progressive and improvements are developed. Progressive in that new patents are filed based upon improvements of similar design. More patents are filed to broaden the scope of a previous patent.. A better mousetrap scenario. The heart of any patent is the "claims" section within a patent. That section describes exactly what is claimed to be patented and protected and is what competitors will utilize when targeting design "work around" inventions. That is why patent clams are made to be as broad a scope as possible when making claims...to make it harder to find a work-around and claims are not written to define specific terms of measurement, materials, colors, etc..

Another newer type patent.. a Provisional patents can be filed and you have a year to submit a formal patent application based on the provisional application. This helps to cover "first to invent" claims. And.. the best thing about a provisional patent is that they are not made public!

I filed a successful patent.. I wrote myself for an early warning earthquake detector.. Patent ran out but I still sell the product on Amazon.. I have filed other provisional patent applications which are fast and can basically be submitted unstructured and written on the proverbial napkin. The best thing about the provisional patent is that it is fast and cheap. However, to protect any patent it can cost more in court costs than the patent is worth. Usually patents are not infringed unless they are commercially viable and earning lots of money.

So bottom line.. we do not and will not know what applications have been filed on any of this. And as we all know we remain in the dark.

I have been more interested in the military aspects of this technology because redundancy is key to military survival.. We all know what a nuclear EMP will do to normal communications wavelengths.

This is a gamble position... but someone will figure it out! GLTA!
